Lori

Lori holds the Avocado Baby Pregnancy Circles at Tulsi Wellness.

Lori is a mother blessing facilitator, and mother to a baby boy born in 2025. She is currently studying to be a postpartum doula. Lori is deeply devoted to supporting women through the transformative thresholds of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, holding space with warmth, reverence, and evidence-based care.

Originally trained as a Registered Children’s Nurse in the UK (2014) and Australia (2016), Lori began her career on a busy paediatric cardiac unit, where she supported hundreds of newborns and their families. She later expanded into early parenting, offering guidance in sleep and settling, infant nutrition, and understanding normal infant behaviour and development.

Alongside her clinical work, Lori has spent years immersed in women’s health and cyclical living. She is a registered Yoga and Yin Yoga teacher (RYT 350 + 50, Yoga Alliance), a graduate of the Menstruality Leadership Programme with Red School (2022), and has completed the Contemporary Menstrual Studies Master’s Foundation Course with Dr Lara Owen (2024). She facilitates mother–daughter workshops that honour menarche as a powerful rite of passage, helping families cultivate a positive, open relationship with menstruality.

Lori’s own journey into motherhood profoundly shaped her path. Supported by nurturing women and guided by an Ayurvedic lens, she experienced the power of intentional, restorative postpartum care following a traumatic birth. This experience ignited a deep passion for ensuring all mothers feel held, nourished, and supported during this sacred time.
